Who are we?
Clanfield Angling Club was established in 1951, from its beginning has been able to fish at Marsh Lane on the River Thames. In recent years we have also acquired 3 fields downstream of the Trout public house on the opposite bank that we can fish. We are also affiliated to the Oxford and District Angling Association which allows us to fish a vast amount of water around Oxford.
Having a friendly relationship with the Farmer and landowner allowing us to park at the riverside makes our club popular with most anglers.
All of our members are very friendly and approachable to one another and encourage and pass on their knowledge and wisdom to all new members.
We also encourage junior anglers with holding Free coaching courses with our resident qualified coach, where they get given tackle and prizes. To date we are currently coaching over 40 Juniors.
